Sky: Probable Milan XI to face Sparta Praha – Kalulu and Daniel Maldini to get an opportunity

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Mlan boss Stefano Pioli is set to make a couple of surprise alterations to his starting XI for the game against Sparta Praha, a report claims.

Pioli is apparently getting ready to make wholesale changes to his starting XI for Thursday night’s trip to face Sparta Praha at the Stadion Letna, with qualification for the knockout stages already in the bag.

All that needs to be resolved is whether Milan finish first or second in their group, but there is also another chance for certain players to prove that they belong firmly in Pioli’s plans.

According to the latest from Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Pierre Kalulu will play in the centre of defence tonight against Sparta together with Leo Duarte and not Matteo Gabbia, who will rest.

Daniel Maldini won the battle with Brahim Diaz and will be the attacking midfielder behind Lorenzo Colombo.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tătărușanu; Conti, Kalulu, Duarte, Dalot; Tonali, Krunić; Castillejo, D. Maldini, Hauge; Colombo.
