Sky: Probable Milan XI vs. SPAL – Calhanoglu, Kessie and Paqueta keep places

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is ready to make a number of changes to his starting line-up for Thursday’s game, a report claims.

The Rossoneri will be looking to avoid any scares on Halloween night as they host relegation battlers SPAL at San Siro.

Milan come into the game having lost five of their first nine games of the season and languishing in 13th place in the table, with Pioli yet to record a win in his first two games in charge.

According to Sky Italia – as cited by @MilanEye on Twitter – the 53-year-old is ready to make a number of changes from the disappointing 2-1 defeat to Roma last weekend.

The outlet claims that Leo Duarte will come in at right-back, seemingly confirming a formal switch to a three-man defence in possession, while Ismael Bennacer will be the regista.

Lucas Paqueta and Franck Kessie are set to keep their places either side, while Krzysztof Piatek will apparently start as the centre-forward over Rafael Leao.

There is a battle on the right between Spaniards Suso and Samu Castillejo, but Hakan Calhanoglu will reportedly keep his place as the left winger.
