More team news is beginning to filter ahead of AC Milan’s crucial game against Torino tonight, including a change in midfield.
According to Sky (via MilanLive), Sandro Tonali is expected to have a rest with Stefano Pioli set to deploy Franck Kessie alongside his midfield partner Ismael Bennacer in the double pivot. Tonali was not in the best condition against Bologna, and will be granted some more time to rest.
That means Brahim Diaz should remain in the attack as the playmaker despite his disappointing performance against Bologna, so it is all-change from the reports over the last few days when multiple sources predicted Kessie will start in that role.
Elsewhere, Alexis Saelemaekers looks ready to return to the XI and he will take the spot of Junior Messias, trying to regain the trust of the coach having not started a game since early February.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Kalulu, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz, Leao; Giroud.
For crying out loud. Drop Diaz and play Ibra as trequartista already. This is getting silly.

Wtf, why do not include Tonali?
