Sky: Real Madrid refuse to send €50m Milan target on loan – Rangnick wants him

As Zlatan Ibrahimovic is destined to leave the club, AC Milan are in need of an experienced replacement for next season. It won’t be easy, nor cheap, to replace the Swede but the Rossoneri have seemingly found their man.

According to Sky Italia this evening, as cited by MilanNews.it, Milan have set their sights on Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic. The Serbian arrived at the club last summer for €60m (via Transfermarkt) but has only managed to add two league goals to his name.

Therefore, considering how well he did at Eintracht Frankfurt, the Rossoneri are eyeing a bargain deal. Real Madrid, though, aren’t willing to send the striker out on loan, currently requesting between €50m and €60m to part ways with him.

Milan’s soon-to-be manager/director, Ralf Rangnick, is fond of Jovic and the latter also played with Ante Rebic during his time at Frankfurt. The successful duo could perhaps reunite at San Siro next season.
