Sky: Spurs-linked Chelsea outcast and Real Madrid defender still options for Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to strengthen their centre-back department by signing a player on loan before the window shuts, a report claims.

It is well documented that Milan are in the market for a new centre-back as at the moment head coach Stefano Pioli can only call upon Matteo Gabbia and Simon Kjaer.

The primary target appeared to then be Bologna’s Takehiro Tomiyasu, however according to what Luca Marchetti told Sky Italia (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri have put that track to one side for now as the demands of the Rossoblu are too much.

The Matija Nastasic option has also now vanished, while the profiles of Antio Rudiger of Chelsea – strongly linked with Spurs at the moment – and Nacho Fernandez of Real Madrid remain alive.

Meanwhile, Sky add that the management are also focusing on the signing of Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot in what has been a busy Friday after a chaotic Thursday night in Portugal.
