Sky: Three Serie A clubs are interested in versatile AC Milan forward

Three Serie A clubs are interested in the idea of signing versatile AC Milan forward Fabio Borini this month, according to a report.

Borini, who joined the Rossoneri back in 2017, has struggled for game time this season after starting the first two Serie A games and is seemingly not part of the plans of head coach Stefano Pioli.

With his contract due to expire in the summer, Calciomercato.com reported over the weekend that Milan have no intention of activating the extension clause to keep him at San Siro for an extra year.

In addition, they added that his agent is at work to find a January destination for his client with the possibility of terminating Borini’s deal at Milan early so he can move for free.

According to Sky Italia – as cited by MilanNews.it – a market derby has erupted between Genoa and Sampdoria for the former Liverpool man.

However, Hellas Verona are also interested in the idea of signing the 28-year-old this month.
