As learned by our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, the Lyon star is now just one step away from Roma. His contract with Lyon will expire in the summer and he has reached an agreement with the Giallorossi over a five-year deal worth €2m per season.
Milan were also interested in the player but due to these updates, they will now shift focus to Brahim Diaz. As we also reported earlier today, the Rossoneri will start the negotiations with Real Madrid from scratch and aim to close a deal at €15m.
Brahim Diaz has been an important player this season, especially in the Champions League, and Milan are hoping that he can step up in Rafael Leao’s absence. The Portuguese winger, in fact, will likely miss the first leg against Inter on Wednesday.
