SM: Tests confirm muscle injury for Krunic – new assessment in ten days

The medical tests carried out at Milanello have confirmed that Rade Krunic has suffered a muscle injury and he will have to undergo more tests soon.

As has been learned by our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, the Bosnian midfielder is certainly out of the matches against Cagliari and Lazio but that may not be all.

He will have to undergo further tests in 10 days’ time and that could reveal the true length of Krunic’s time out.

He came off injured against Hellas Verona, with the injury cruelly coming whilst Pioli was waiting for the ball to go out of play so that he could take Krunic out.

There was a theory that Yacine Adli will be getting a chance in the first team by replacing Krunic but it seems more likely that Tijjani Reijnders is going to be used in the centre of the midfield three and Adli will have to wait.

  1. This injury is 100% Piolis fault, Krunic ended limping against Newcastle and didn`t even consider to sub him in the second half.
