TMW: Spezia ask for €30m and Milan and Juventus retain interest in defender

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan remain interested in signing Jakub Kiwior from Spezia but competition and a high asking price are currently blocking the path, a report claims.

TMW report that Kiwior remains in the sights of Milan and Juventus, but the Polish defender is considered one of Spezia’s prized pieces which is why they are also trying to renew his contract, to allow themselves to manage his future with more calm and more leverage.

The Ligurian club are currently asking for around €30m in order to sell the 22-year-old, a price that could put off both the Rossoneri and the Bianconeri or even other suitors, because they would not want to exceed €20m.

Spezia know that Kiwior will likely hold a starting spot for Poland at the upcoming World Cup in Qatar and therefore his value could skyrocket if he has a good tournament, hence setting a high asking price now ahead of time.
