Sportitalia: Zaniolo’s agent in Milan to try rekindle move to Rossoneri

By Oliver Fisher -

The Nicolo Zaniolo saga has taken another twist as his agent is currently in Milano hoping to rekindle a potential move to AC Milan, a report claims.

Multiple sources have been reporting that Milan withdraw from the race to sign Zaniolo as they were not able to get close to the kind of deal that Roma were demanding, with AFC Bournemouth agreeing a fee but the player not being convinced to join.

Time is running out and Zaniolo could be frozen out at Roma until the end of the season if a solution is not found, so there is a scramble on to try and get something resolved before the deadline closes.

According to a report from Sportitalia, Claudio Vigorelli – Zaniolo’s agent – is currently in Milan to try and find a solution for his client. It is difficult to rekindle a move abroad because it would likely take too long from a bureaucratic point of view, so the hope is to ‘reopen the Milan track’.

  1. Loan with option to buy. Roma have nothing from paying him for another 6 months and having to sell him with 6 months less on his contract. Whatever they say they would rather not have him at the club than pay him for nothing…
