Even though the summer window has now closed, stories continue to filter out about signings that could have happened. One of them for AC Milan was Yves Bissouma.
Milan went for a midfield overhaul during the mercato, with Tijjani Reijnders and Yunus Musah leaving, but Luka Modric, Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci and Adrien Rabiot all arriving. Despite this, there were some other names in the orbit too.

According to Matteo Moretto (via MilanPress), Milan were offered the chance to sign Yves Bissouma from Spurs. The Rossoneri evaluated the option but they didn’t deem him to be a priority, because they believed they could still unlock the Jashari deal, which ultimately went through.
The 29-year-old Ivorian would likely have been available on favourable terms given that Spurs seemed open to selling him, given he had a year on his contract too. That being said, Bissouma has now been brought back into the fold by Thomas Frank, who took over as the head coach.
The signing of Jashari and the deadline day addition of Rabiot left Milan well covered in the midfield area, especially considering that Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Youssouf Fofana remained at the club so must be added to the list of names mentioned above.
midfield is done until the summer, what we actually need is a CB, ST and a wingback.
Lucumi (great passer, strong defender, quality in 1v1 and high recovery in possesion, can play both in 2 men and 3 men defense systems)
Vlahovic (just look what he did vs Dortmund in UCL – 8 goal contributions in 7 games and based on minutes he was given they are one in every 45 minutes this season)
wingback is hard… Lodi is cheap option and before Saudi he was a quality LB/LM; Tomiyasu another one but injury issues are serious but with his versatility would be perfect addition; Maehle is another good versatile option as well, has Serie A experience with Atalanta or Gurreiro. But best option is for sure Mazraoui
