Starting XI for Udinese: Borini-Biglia-Calhanoglu in midfield; Musacchio…

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could field a familiar starting midfield against Udinese this coming weekend, according to one journalist.

The Rossoneri will kick off their 2019-20 campaign on Sunday as they travel to the Stadio Friuli.

Milan will be looking to go one better than last season and get back into the top four, which would secure a return to the Champions League for the first time since 2013-14.

Looking more specifically at the game against Udinese, Sky Italia journalist Peppe Di Stefano believes that despite the five signings made by Milan this summer, it could be a familiar starting XI.

“We might see the same players of last season against Udinese,” he said.

“For the midfield there is Biglia, Calhanoglu and Borini but Kessie could also play.

“Of the newcomers Leao has the best chance of playing as a second striker. The defensive block is expected to be that of last year.”
