Talks are ongoing between AC Milan and the entourage of Ismael Bennacer over the renewal of his contract, according to a report.
Bennacer joined Milan from Empoli back in the summer of 2019 and he has gone on to establish himself as not only an immovable part of the starting line-up under Stefano Pioli but also as one of the best midfielders in the league and one of the best young midfielders in Europe.

As reported this morning by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Milan management want to safeguard the core of the team for the future and there is not only the renewal of Rafael Leao on the agenda of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara.
The Algerian’s contract expires in the summer of 2024 – just like Leao’s does – and according to the newspaper contacts are currently underway between the parties to extend that, with a pay rise as a reward for his status.
I rated him more crucial than Leao, so hopefully we can renewed him.
