GdS: Tare’s ‘destiny’ is Milan – this time ‘the right time’ for partnership

AC Milan and Igli Tare have been linked together regularly in recent years, but there has never been a marriage, though that could change this summer.

A reshuffle at the top will see a new man become part of Milan’s transfer process, overseeing the sporting actions of the club, and hopefully, the next generation of Rossoneri success. Admittedly though, that feels far away after this season.

Decisions about a new head coach and the squad itself will be made by the new man, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano this afternoon, but the first decision is regarding who the new sporting director will be.

There have been several links in the past week, but Igli Tare’s name has been frequently around the top of the list, and Gazzetta dello Sport states that it is his ‘destiny’ to lead the club.

History shows us plenty of opportunities to become partners, but the timings have never been right, until perhaps now. For example, in 2019, when Paolo Maldini called the director to ask about his availability, however, Claudio Lotito refused the idea.

Had Lotito not said no, who knows what could have happened in the past six years, but now, we could have the chance to see it first hand, rather than imagining what could have been.

  1. Tare’s entourage paying for articles like these us so funny. Its not like garbage media outlets are gonna force Furlani into appointing someone he doesn’t want.

      1. Tare’s entourage are very rich and powerful.
They’ll decide the outcome of Milan’s market next season and in years to come.

      2. He’s Albanian mate. He has at least 30 family members leaching off him and pretending they are important part of his life. Yes, he has an enteurage and he is related or he grew up with most of them.

        1. He is Albanian, but last time I checked he lived most of his adult life in Germany and Italy mostly. Also Italian Citizen.

In my books he is more Italian then Albanian.

Question is who is paying you? Or you crap for fun. Lousy hillbilly redneck

          1. You are clearly not familiar with anthropological background of Balkans, in this instance Albania, so I will forgive your ignorance. Do try to brush up on the topic at hand before you start white knighting for someone that clearly doesn’t need it.

  2. Shiva, I have not sudied anthropology, but I am more then familiar with that part of the world then you will ever be, but that aside I am also certain that I do not like that you actually generalize and go back to some unfortunate historic Albania you want to portray here. Tare most definitely is not who you think he is.

I do however pity you my friend, as you are the only ignorant one here, but then life happens and we all learn with the time.

There are still dinosours out there that through bananas in the pitch. World is changing, I suggest you keep an open mind, remove your bias. After all we are American Corporation now that is based in meritocracy.

    Good night!

    1. Thank you for your pity, it means a lot coming from someone so limited. Tare is exactly who I think he is. A mediocrity that is best suited for a midtable team, and nothing more. There is a reason he has been jobless since being kicked out of Lazio.

Oh and thank you for a good laugh, American Corporation that is based in meritocracy. Milan is doing so well because of it. But then again, Tare does fit in this ambitionless Milan. You might be right, he might just be the right person to get us to that 8th or even 6th place. But maybe that is too optimistic.
