GdS: The ‘Tare era’ at Milan begins on Monday – how his agenda looks

Igli Tare is expected to sign his AC Milan contract shortly, and his job will start next week. Here’s what he can expect.

In the next day or so, Tare is expected to sign the contract that will bring him to Milan for three years. However, his most important year is the first. A chance to make his mark and start the rebuild which has arguably been long overdue.

Saturday will be another chance to assess the tools which he has available to him, and then on Monday, the real work can begin.

As Gazzetta dello Sport writes, an announcement is expected to arrive on Monday, and with it, the Rossoneri will return to tradition. His work has already started to take place, with planning already underway, but his agenda will probably differ slightly.

It will start with three things, all needing clarification and attention: incomings, outgoings and renewals. Though it seems that the former will be the immediate focus, including sorting out a head coach.

The first week will likely be a case of assessing the situation in person, rather than just reading reports. Then, the real work can begin. After all, the mercato does not open for a while.

  1. Think that having a good, experienced coach is much more important than a direttore sportivo.
We need a strong coach with experience in serie A who will immediately change our system of play which is dull, sterile, poor and unattractive. Milan are world champions in passing the ball back all the time, passing sideways, backpassing to goalkeeper, milan corners finish with ball back to maignan, weak attack with weak attackers (abraham, jovic –!!!!!). We need to change completely our style of play and a coach who can change all this soon.
Talk of selling Tijji is really hurtful – – why should milan for the second time after tonali sell our best player to make up for incompetence of rat furlani?
KNOW I AM A POOR CHEAP COUNTRY BUMPKIN BUT IF MILAN SELL TIJJI THEN IT’S ALL OVER FOR ME AND MILAN CAN GO TO HELL FOR ALL I CARE.

    1. Antonio D’Ottavio was the SD that was fired on Dec 11, 2024. He was an empty suit that basically did nothing other than hold the license to do the job and cover for Moncada who doesn’t have the license.

  2. For me if city want rejeinders and Milan are willing to sell him tare needs to get 100 million for him and he will start on good terms rejeinders is the best midfielder in Europe with a goal scoring like a center forward
