Tatarusanu says Milan ‘hope to play our best football and win’ against Monza

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu has said that the Rossoneri want to play their best football and get the three points against Monza on Saturday.

Speaking to Milan TV ahead of the match at the U-Power Stadium (via Milan TV), the Romanian goalkeeper discussed the two recent wins against Torino and Tottenham Hotspur.

He admitted that they were tough games but the Rossoneri want to perform well again at Monza and get a third consecutive win.

“Against Torino and Tottenham were difficult matches, we hope to get another win,” Tatarusanu said.

He had praise for a Monza side that has won four and drawn four of their last eight Serie A fixtures and have moved themselves away from the relegation zone.

“They are a fit team, they are still unbeaten, but I hope to play our best football and win,” he said.

Milan are starting the game with Divock Origi leading the line and the previously injured Fikayo Tomori has returned to the back line, this time in a three with Pierre Kalulu and Malick Thiaw. Junior Messias is also coming into the team on the right wing.
