Telefoot: Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt want PSG striker but he could remain

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan remain interested in signing Hugo Ekitike from Paris Saint-Germain but he is increasingly likely to stay, a report claims.

According to the latest from Téléfoot, Eintracht Frankfurt have reopened discussions with PSG about Ekitike in the last few hours while they are also in talks over a deal – albeit separate – that would see Randal Kolo Muani go the other way.

Ekitike has been linked with a number of different clubs this summer including West Ham United and RC Lens too, but it was Everton who agreed a deal with the Ligue 1 side for €40m before he rejected the destination.

The source claims that Eintracht Frankfurt want a loan with option to buy deal for the former Stade de Reims star and would not consider a permanent deal at present.

However, PSG might open up to the idea if they are able to get Kolo Muani. Milan remain ‘in ambush’ but it is also mentioned that the idea of Ekitike staying in the French capital is becoming increasingly likely.
