Telefoot: Milan table contract offer worth €12m net for Ligue 1 star – Napoli informed

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have tabled a contract offer to Marseille winger Florian Thauvin in the hopes of convincing him to join, according to a report from France.

The Rossoneri have been repeatedly linked with a move for Thauvin by a number of sources both in Italy and in France since the summer transfer window, with suggestions that the management are very keen on securing him when his contract expires in June 2021.

According to what is being reported by Telefoot (via CM.it), the Rossoneri have offered Thauvin a four-year contract worth €3m net per season, therefore a deal totalling €12m.

There has not yet been a response from the 27-year-old World Cup winner, but it shows that Milan have started to take the first concrete steps to try and land a player of quality in a cut-price deal.

Napoli have also been made aware of Milan’s offer for the former Newcastle man, as they too are interested in him.
