‘On a growth path’ – Terracciano discusses loan experience with Cremonese

Filippo Terracciano left AC Milan on loan in the summer, and after Cremonese’s loss to Fiorentina, he spoke about his experiences so far.

The decision to sign Terracciano initially seemed slightly strange, but it is more topical than ever, given he arrived in a January mercato. Perhaps an example of why Milan shouldn’t sign depth for the sake of it.

Nevertheless, barring a few moments, he failed to really do anything of note during his short time with the Rossoneri, so it was not a shock when he left on loan in the summer.

Terracciano on experiences

Whether he will play a role for the Diavolo in the future remains to be seen, especially as he has not really sent shockwaves back from his loan spell and the buy clause on his loan is conditional. However, given he is only 22 years old, there is certainly room for growth.

After the game against Fiorentina, he spoke to DAZN about moving to the Rossoneri and his experience on loan, as MilanNews relayed.

“I have to thank Cremonese so much for the trust she has given me right away. We work a lot with the coach and the staff, even on an individual level.

“At Milan, it was a window that taught me a lot, on a human level and also technical-tactical. I’m on a growth path, and I don’t have the slightest intention of stopping. Only in this way can I achieve the results I want.”

  1. if he and alex jiminez joins back id be a happy man now that our team has been fixed a bit compared to last season

  2. He has started most games for them as a Right CB in a back 3, so not only would he fit us and be a good rotation option… he already has more goals this season playing CB than Gimenez does playing Striker…

      1. Nobody said it was you desperate weirdo. Lmao, its no wonder nobody takes you serious on this site. Hes started almost every game for them and they’ve exceeded every expectation they had for them at the start of the season, and have guaranteed survival in their 1st season back. Not to mention, in case you forgot, We lost to them… so go be a pitiful Italian hater somewhere else where people care🤫

  3. It’s talk like “he has not really sent shockwaves back from his loan spell.” What does this mean? What shockwave are you looking for in a CB? Which Milan CB, or CB in the league, has sent such a shockwave this season?

The team is currently short at CB and the club doesn’t have money to buy a decent cb so why not bring him back? The youngsters should be given time and space to grow instead of steadily donating to Chelsea account balance every 18 months.

Gabbia, and more recently Bartesaghi, are clear examples of the need to give younger players a chance.

  4. Curious if the club was expecting him to play this entire loan spell so far as a RCB in a back 3. As well as starting almost every game.

At this stage he could easily slot back into the squad as a extra member of the defensive loan. Not sure if he is quick enough to play R/LWB. But would provide a more defensive option for that position at times when you are facing a difficult opponent.

  5. If the guy manages to hit form, not a to bash any of our current players but management should cashout on Tomori and RLC cus it can’t get better than how they are they are in sharp decline especially Tomori.

    1. Yeah, Milan has lost only once in the league but a DEFENDER Tomori is supposedly in decline… think again what you wrote and then think again.
