Having had some of the most iconic club sides in history, it is no surprise that AC Milan also have a lot of memorable teams on EA Sports FIFA.
A lot of Milan fans got into supporting the club through video games, such as the famous FIFA franchise. Speaking of which, with the latest edition now out, you could look for FC 26 coins if you are. a player.

The icons
Looking back at some stars from previous editions of the game, it really is a bit of a mixed bag. For example, Gonzalo Higuain and Leonardo Bonucci – two flops signed from Juventus – flank the club legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Below them are the Brazilian trio of Alexandre Pato, Ronaldinho and Thiago Silva who all had 87-rated cards at one point. Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez follow – both 87s.
Rafael Leao, Luka Modric, Kevin-Price Boateng, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Alessandro Nesta round out the list of highest ever ratings in Ultimate Team.
Milan are not officially licensed in the latest game, but the players still appear. Mike Maignan leads the way with a rating of 87, while Leao and Pulisic at 84 complete the podium. The others over 80 are Luka Modric, Youssouf Fofana, Christopher Nkunku and Fikayo Tomori.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is on exactly 80, followed by Pervis Estupinan, Santiago Gimenez and Alexis Saelemaekers who are rated 79. Matteo Gabbia, Samuele Ricci and Pietro Terracciano follow on one rating lower, then it’s Ardon Jashari (77) and Strahinja Pavlovic (76).

Lasting impact
One of Milan‘s more recent stars on FIFA has been Rafael Leao, often the highest-rated player in a red and black shirt. When he signed for the club from Lille, he revealed that he used to play as the Rossoneri.
“I always chose Milan when I played on the PlayStation because a very strong team that won the Champions League so many times,” Leao told Milan TV in 2019.
“The club has had many great players in the past. I never saw them live, but I watched videos of Maldini, Rui Costa, Kakà, Seedorf. They are all great names that have made history in football. It is very nice to be here.”
On his Rossoneri idols: “Kakà was a champion. The Brazilian players always have a special talent and Kakà has marked the history of Milan. He won the Ballon d’Or with the Rossoneri shirt and I am proud to have arrived at the club where he has played in the past.”
Sometimes, it provides a marker of how far a career has come. For example, Manuel Locatelli revealed after scoring a winner against Juventus that the player he netted past – Gianluigi Buffon – was someone who was a regular opponent on FIFA.
“I scored against Buffon, who until the other day I used to play on PlayStation. It was really hard to imagine that goal and, above all, score it.
“I find it strange to talk in school. I was only here last year. I’ve realised a dream. Set your goals because one day you’ll succeed [in meeting them].
“I don’t feel like I’ve absolutely succeeded yet because I’m only 19 and I do everything in each training session.”
