Milan are in a good position after the win away at Fiorentina but there is still a lot of work to do, which the players will start preparations for on Sunday. Currently, 14 players are out on international duty.
It’s always a tad depressing when the international break is ongoing, as we won’t get to see the Rossoneri play this weekend. However, you might be able to see five Milan players in action today, depending on the team selections.
Matteo Gabbia and Sandro Tonali were both set to feature for Italy’s U21 side today as they will take on Brahim Diaz’ Spain. However, Tonali has been banned three games for a stamp in the last clash, while Gabbia got a one-game ban for misconduct.
Therefore, five Rossoneri players will take part in international duty tomorrow, with at least two of them set to start. That is, of course, Hakan Calhanoglu and Brahim Diaz while Rade Krunic and Alexis Saelemaekers could be on the bench.
