GdS: There are three players who can take Milan further in the Champions League

By Euan Burns -

There are three players that AC Milan could sign this summer to take them further into the Champions League knockout stages, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, two current Serie A stars and one player from Ligue 1 should be the Rossoneri’s main targets in the summer.

Defensive depth has been an issue for Milan despite still managing to win the Scudetto. That naturally leads every big Serie A team to look at Torino’s Gleison Bremer.

He has been heavily linked with Inter but it is thought Milan will up their efforts soon.

In the midfield, there is Lille’s Renato Sanches who has been linked with Milan for a long time. It is thought the deal would only cost €15-20 million and he has a desire to join the club.

In attack, the name of Nicolo Zaniolo is back in style. He could demand a fee of €60-70 million but Paolo Maldini is keen to see if that can be changed.

  1. 3 player that can take AC Milan further in AC Milan : nkunku ( AMF ) , Antony ( RW ) , Darwin Nunez ( Striker) . But that Will be hard due to American owner like redbird only aim for profit like elliot . Elliot get profit from invest 700m euro and sell after 3 years more than 1,3bn euro ( up to 1,8bn euro Clause) .

    1. They didn’t even invest 700m euro they just took it over from the precious owners.
Eliot shouldn’t be taking any credit of the scudetto victory it’s al thanks to Maldini, Masara, Gazidis and the whole Milan club including pioli players and the rest of the staff. No good owner would leave their team having only 1 fit striker 1 center back (romangoli was shit) 2 right wingers who I doubt they are professionals noone would do that not even man utd owners

    2. So why talk about something that is not going to happen? @reccaman

What’s with the Bremer links ? Botman really going to Newcastle?

I am fine with Bremer, Zaniolo improved a lot and Renato’s fitness was good this season.

  2. From the mention in the article i would only take Bremer the guy is a beast of defender for R.Sanches is injury prone but for like 15 millions maybe i would take him as for Zaniolo is one hard pass all the way injury prone asking price super high for one player that most times in past seasons is out do to injury problems with that type of money we can grab the Club Brugges duo and depending how the deal is done we can safe some money to put in another deal!

    1. On point. My opinion though. De kartaelere for AMF, Berardi RW, Bremer CB, Parisi LB, Sanches, bring back Pobega, Asensio RW
      Thank you

    2. Zaniolo played over 40 matches and had numbers close to Leao and you’re talking crap. Yeah, Milan will pay a big sum for a player that will get injured and won’t play without having the medical team check him. Or maybe you should give them a call and tell them he is a bad choice. 😀

  3. knowing Maldini and Massara, they will not go for bremer or zaniolo who will be much much overpriced. Probably renato if the price is 15 mils.

I see Maldini and Massara will focus on younger talent and big NO to overspend

  4. I like Zaniolo but not for 60-70M lol. That’s waaaay too much considering his injury history. I’d rather go for Antony at RW. Yes Nunez as striker but doubt Redbird spend 80-100M on one player. Bremer is a beast but curious as to what happened to Botman? Would be happy with Bremer/Tomori with Theo and Kalulu tho…Good luck getting past that wall lol. Udogie should be purchased as back up to Theo. He is a rising star IMO. Sanches for 15-20M is a great piece of business – but not higher than that. Still cannot believe Kamara chose Aston Villa lol, what a waste. Sounds like Lang may be our new CAM? Rather De Keteleare but we will see. More importantly sign M&M to an extension ASAP!!! Maldini knows we need to spend to take next step – let’s see if Redbird satisfy his demands and ours
