AC Milan are reflecting on which midfielder is the right man to come in and strengthen that department after missing out on Renato Sanches, and they could move for a domestic option.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), Milan are keen on signing Adrien Tameze from Hellas Verona and he is one of the most popular names to replace Franck Kessié. Tameze is a flexible player who covers multiple positions on the pitch, he knows the league and he has a reasonable cost.
These three factors mean that Milan are keen on the 28-year-old, but Paolo Maldini will have to convince Verona to sell him Tameze for a maximum of €12m given the small remaining budget.
Other options are also being looked at, with the directors making every effort to strengthen the middle of the park given the non-arrival of Sanches, who decided to stay in France and join PSG.

Very unlikely to happen imo, unless he comes for a 1 mill salary and Diaz is leaving for a different team (which I don’t see happening based on how Pioli used him)
U21 midfielder is the only option.
Someone mentioned that in the Milan official website, the following players didn’t have a picture and took that as a correlation of the players we won’t have in Champions League
– Tatarusanu
– Fode Ballo Toure
– Bakayoko
– Lazetic
– Ibrahimovic
– CDK – he had just joined though
Looking back, I wouldn’t be surprised if many of these players are not part of the Serie A team also for the first half of the season.
Only 4 need to be excluded from UCL though.
If that is true, that can actually be an indication that someone is coming, hence why the number of excluded players reach 5 (not considering the missing picture of CDK as he just arrive).
If we were going for someone with less qulity for the mid, why didn’t we sing Samuel Ricci from Empoli then ? He was avaliable for only 8.5mil. Plus he is 20 years old, so he would improve and got better with time for sure.
More bs. Milan aren’t going to waste money on a no name midfielder, nor did they want the fraud Sanches.
Sanchez was the greatestiss of this mecarto, It was very stupid to let a Sanchez type of mildfeilder go when we can have him for freaking 15m, even kamara was there for free……this management are too narrow-minded, if not for maldini, this club would have depleted.
There is no mildfeilder out there to get FOr our peanut money, so we better keep our money

Ilic is young talented midfielder who had a good season in serie a last year . Loan with buy option is good. Or just go for SpeziA stripped captain Maggiore. He will cost around 10m.
