The extent of AC Milan’s home struggles during the 2020-21 season have been made clear with three key statistics.
As MilanLive writes, the number of points won at home by Milan in the current season is just 30. In this statistic, the Rossoneri are seventh in Serie A in terms of home form, with only 3 points more than Sampdoria obtained on their own field. Eight wins, six draws and five defeats in 19 home games.
Inter are first with 49, followed by Juventus at 44 and Roma at 43, then Lazio at 41 and both Napoli and Atalanta at 39. Milan are nine points behind those two. Not only that, but a return of 30 points at home is the Rossoneri’s worst figure since Serie A moved to being a 20-team league.
Another incredible fact is that Milan will finish the 2020-21 season having amassed fewer points at home than Filippo Inzaghi’s team, which in the 2014-15 season ended 10th place in the table. That team got 32 points at home.
