TMW: How Leipzig have beaten Milan, Wolves to playmaker – breakdown of the €50m deal

Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig have beaten the competition to land Dani Olmo from Dinamo Zagreb in a deal worth as much as €50m, reports claim.

It was reported by MilanNews.it earlier on Thursday – who cited sources in Croatia – that the Spain international has left the training ground of Dinamo Zagreb in order to fly out to Leipzig and complete his move.

According to the latest from the TMW network, Leipzig have launched a decisive assault to land the 21-year-old talent and are now preparing to close the deal with Dinamo. 

The outlet confirms that the player has in fact already left the training ground of the Croatian club and will soon take a flight to Germany.

The Bundesliga giants are paying a substantial fee to land the Barcelona academy product though: the fixed base that they will pay is €35million, with €15m in achievable bonuses, for a total of €50m. 

In addition, Dinamo have also also maintained 25% of its future resale. In the next few hours, Olmo will undergo his medical visits and sign with Leipzig.
