Lazio have held another meeting with the entourage of Alessio Romagnoli in a bid to secure his signature, according to a report.
Romagnoli joined the Rossoneri in the summer of 2015, having signed from Roma for €25million. Even though he has been a pillar of the Milan rearguard since and was even made club captain, he has lost his place in the starting line-up over the past 18 months due to Fikayo Tomori’s arrival and then Pierre Kalulu’s emergence.
That is why he is currently set to leave Milan when his contract expires at the end of the season and a number of different clubs keep being mentioned as possible options for the 27-year-old.
According to what is being reported by TMW, the president of Lazio – Claudio Lotito – went to Formello to meet Enzo Raiola today. At the Biancoceleste headquarters there was talk of the renewal of Patric but also regarding Romagnoli, who the club want to bolster their defence with Luiz Felipe set to depart.
