AC Milan have reignited their interest in signing Tommaso Baldanzi from Empoli and could soon formulate an offer, a report claims.

According to TMW, Empoli’s 20-year-old playmaker is being chased by many clubs both in Italy and abroad, but there are two teams that have shown a more concrete interest than others and they are Milan and Roma.

The Rossoneri are about to sell Sandro Tonali to Newcastle in a deal that could reach as much as €80m, while the Giallorossi have sold Tahirovic to Ajax and they will soon also say goodbye to Volpato, Missori, Perez and Kluivert.

These operations which will allow the two clubs to have greater financial resources to attempt to sign Baldanzi. Each could launch their bids in the next 10 days for the Italy U20 talent, and it is expected that Empoli will be asking for a figure of around €15m in order to part ways.
