TMW: Milan could make move for Hoffenheim starlet in January with Barcelona also keen

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could make an attempt to sign Hoffenheim defender Melayro Bogarde in the January window, according to one journalist.

The Rossoneri have been linked with moves for a number of different centre-backs over the past few weeks as they failed to sign one in the summer window, and Bogarde is a name that keeps being mentioned with increasing insistence.

According to what Nicolò Ceccarini has told TMW, Bogarde is among the defensive targets that Milan are looking at ahead of the winter window, along with Schalke’s Ozan Kabak and Hellas Verona’s Matteo Lovato.

Milan have begun to take their first steps for the 18-year-old Dutchman, who is also attracting interest from Barcelona given the fact his contract runs out in June 2021 and therefore he could be available on a free transfer.

Ceccarini adds that if the demands of the German club are not particularly high, Milan could make a concrete attempt in January.
