Dominik Szoboszlai continues to be AC Milan’s main priority ahead of the upcoming transfer window. As we reported on Tuesday, via our correspondent Vito Angele, they are preparing their first offer for the midfielder.
However, they aren’t alone in the race and could, in fact, miss out on the Hungarian international. Paris Saint-Germain have upped their interest in recent hours and are now pressing to reach an agreement with RB Salzburg.
The French side want to beat the competition and are thus preparing an offer of around €25m plus bonuses – or perhaps a percentage of a resale. The Coronavirus situation could favour them, as Ligue 1 has been suspended while Serie A is ongoing now.
In January, Szoboszlai was one step away from Milan as Zvone Boban had reached a full agreement for the transfer. The operation, though, broke down due to the turbulence within the Rossoneri management. Just a few months later, Boban was sacked.
