TMW: Milan dreaming of signing Nkunku from RB Leipzig – dialogues ongoing

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are dreaming of signing Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig but it will not be an easy pursuit, according to a report.

The attacking midfielder had an amazing season with the Bundesliga side, amassing 35 goals and 20 assists in 51 appearances for them, and TMW report that he is the big name that the new Rossoneri ownership could try to sign to reinforce the attacking department.

It is not an easy operation, given that Barcelona and PSG are after him and have been for some time, but Milan will try with RedBird at the helm. Contacts with Leipzig have intensified, but it will take a lot of money to land him.

It could require a heavy sacrifice such as Rafael Leao to fund it, but it remains for the moment more of a market dream. With dialogues ongoing it seems that Milan are willing to try their hand.

  1. Wow. 35 goals and 20 assists.
We barely have anyone score 10 goals or get 10 assists.
It’s still unbelievable how Milan won the title with that offensive personal and their contribution.

    1. You are right. Leao got 11 goals and few assist and we talk about him as next Maradona. That I do not compare Bundes and Italian Liga. Leao MUST stay in ACM for few more years. If he leaves now in PL, Real, Barca… it might happen that they will “eat” him. Here, he has “credit”, fans and players like him. This is secure environment for him.

    1. Is “team play” some kind of code for “Give the ball to Leao and see if he can do something with it”? Because that’s what Milan was doing offensively

      1. Coco show respect to the champions
I don’t know if u belong to inter or juventus but the bitter truth is that Milan is Champion again
37 goals and 20 assist did he win the league
All that matters for Milan was to win something and gradually we are getting back to what we used to be
Although u may not know this because u weren’t born then
So show Respect to the champions

        1. Apache are you 72 years old? LOL He is right, attack was basically give Leao the ball and hope something happens.

        2. I don’t belong to anyone, but I am a Milan fan.
There is no reason to get emotional over a fact that champion or not Milan has poor attacking personal.
Play on the field shows that, numbers show that.
Milan are champions in spite of majority of their attacking players, not because of them. Hence my comment that it’s a Miracle that Milan won the title.
And no Nkunku didn’t win the title because he plays in a league where Bayern is lightning years ahead of every other team

          1. No miracle just hard work, good coaching and quality play went into the scudetto. You and a few other guys gotta except the fact that your complaining about the quality of the team all season was wrong and off base.

  2. We need 60-70m euro to buy him from Leipzig. It will be dream move. There is no way we can compete salary with mbappe FC too for nkunku. More realistic we sign Charles de ketel for 30m euro or sign Dybala free transfer

  3. He shouldn’t be a dream signing, but a GIFT from the new owner, as a gesture of a good will. Aside the planed players, this man (who will significantly raise the bar in the Milan’s offense) should be a sign of a good will and the real aim of the new owners – winning the 8th CL!

  4. GLUPOST !!!

  5. Selling one player to get another in the same position for less money is something I expected from the new owners, I just hope I was wrong.
