AC Milan are interested in signing Kristian Thorstvedt from Genk this summer to complete the midfield department, according to a report.

TMW reports that Milan are looking for a young profile to be included in the squad for next season and to compliment a department which already boasts Franck Kessie, Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali, to complete a fresh and top-level department.

In the last few days the Rossoneri have expressed interest in Kristian Thorstvedt, a Norwegian midfielder owned by Genk, where he replaced his compatriot Sander Berge and did so very well.

As per the report, the 22-year-old combines great physical skills with good technical ability and the current valuation of the youngster is between €12m and €15m. It must be noted that two or three Premier League clubs are also watching him closely, which means Milan could face some quite intense competition.
