Serhou Guirassy’s incredible scoring record has piqued the interest of various clubs around Europe and AC Milan are among them, with Geoffrey Moncada even reportedly going on a scouting mission.
TMW report that Milan have a budget of around €20m for the striker position in January having failed to land Mehdi Taremi from Porto towards then end of the summer window, and they want to sign Guirassy.
He has 16 goals in 10 appearances this season and average a goal every 47 minutes or every 45 minutes counting only the Bundesliga, and the release clause that he has perfectly matches up with the Rossoneri’s available funds.
In recent weeks, Moncada went in person to Stuttgart to watch Guirassy and he got excellent impressions. The player’s salary is fully within Milan’s parameters, given that he receives around €1m net per season and it wouldn’t be a problem to (at least) double it.
What remains to be understood is the player’s desire which, at least until a few weeks ago, was to remain in the Bundesliga until the end of the season. On the other hand, Milan have an almost irresistible charm, especially for a 26-six year old player who grew up watching the team of Pirlo, Kakà, Shevchenko and Inzaghi.
If anything, the obstacle is understanding who else will move for the player because the competition will be very strong, in particular from Premier League clubs who have no problem offering a rich contract to the centre-forward.
Lol.
They should have kept this a secret, before EPL teams inflate his price
My point too . Must we make public any player we scout? Countless number of players we lost to this approach.
cant inflate a release clause.
I wonder what is behind his success tho. is it a team that makes space for him and provides him with usefull passes. He wont get that at Milan thats for sure.. Stutgart is punching way above their weight atm, last season they finished 16th
@flyingturtle some people don’t need anything look at Giroud at Montpellier, and now Adams who’s eclipsing Girouds numbers he had all that time ago, some players, true scorers can create chances out of nothing, the way Pippo did.
Thats a good one. Some people don’t need anything… thats a very limited and naive view on football…
Stefano Pioli please evaluate this line up in our attacking midfield and our defensive midfield
