TodoFichajes: Milan and Spurs agree €15m deal – ‘signing could be made official shortly’

AC Milan are close to being able to announce the signing of Tottenham defender Serge Aurier, according to a report from Spain.

The Rossoneri’s desire to sign a new right-back has been picked up on by a number of different outlets, with Andrea Conti and Davide Calabria having struggled for consistency all season.

A number of outlets have reported that Aurier is a target of the Milan management to reinforce the right side of the defence, with the general consensus being that talks are underway.

According to what TodoFichajes are reporting, the two teams are now close to finally reaching an agreement regarding the transfer fee.

The north London club initially demanded €20m for the Ivorian’s exit but in the end the operation will amount to a figure close to €15m, although it could be higher if a series of objectives are met.

The signature is only pending some final details which will be resolve, and the signing could be made official shortly.

    – 27 years old (doesn’t meet u-25 policy)
    – High salary demands
    – Inconsistent (had just two seasons with 30+ league games in whole career)
    – Injury prone
    – Uneasy character

    Hope Conti will get back in shape & put this guy to the bench.
