AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori is reportedly a target for Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, and the asking price has been set.
According to Calciomercato.com, Al-Hilal are seeking reinforcements from the Italian league and has set its sights on two central defenders who are in demand. The first is Jhon Lucumí of Bologna, who is a target for Inter and especially Juventus.

The second is Tomori, who Milan consider sellable. The Englishman, formerly of Chelsea, will leave Milan and the Rossoneri, especially after failing to renew his contract which expires next year. The purchase of Mario Gila from Lazio will further push him out of the door.
Tomori’s price set
According to Saudi sources, Tomori is a concrete target for Simone Inzaghi’s side, who want to play with a three-man defence. Al-Hilal have not submitted any official offers yet, but they’re not expected to go beyond €12-13m.
Milan’s asking price for the Englishman to leave is €20m. If the player leaves Milan, he’d like to return to England, but Frank Lampard’s Coventry City have not gone beyond a simple inquiry so far (the same goes for Ruben Loftus-Cheek).
Tomori earns €3.5m net per season and was bought by Chelsea in June 2021 for €28.5m plus bonuses. To avoid a capital loss, as per Milan’s 2024-25 budget, the Rossoneri must collect a sum greater than €5.7m. He has played 214 games for the club, scoring seven goals.
Al-Hilal is no longer owned by the Saudi Sporting Fund, who’ve decided to cut the funding of majority of the clubs before pulling out entirely as well, LIV Golf has also come to an end, the league is basically going the way of the Chinese Super League. So don’t expect crazy money from over there.
I’d urge you to not believe the gloating headlines on this one – it won’t go anywhere near the way of the Chinese League. This is phase 2 of the original plan. The “PAY ATTENTION TO US” bit is over; now, the clubs will transfer to private ownership (incredibly wealthy private ownership that’s still indirectly propped up by PIF) and aim for ‘sustainability’. It was never about becoming the biggest league in the world, it was about being on the map.
Expect sensible offers and contracts from now on, but don’t expect a China situation.

Im not a fan of the Saudi League, I’m just starting that it’s not disappearing like the English papers are quick to suggest.
Don’t bank on them not being in the Champions League in the next ten years just yet.

If Milan transfer strategy is to make squad stronger than they will probably go in another year with financial loss rather than sell and give players for free.
So you keep stonger players in team to reach best possible results in longterm and than release for free if it necessary, just like this season Inter releases DeVrij Sommer and Acerbi with Darmian.
Because on market you already overpay for new players.

But there are 2 mire reasons Tomori and Ruben are still on Growth Decree, so for Milan is quite hard to find replacement who will fit in cost budget.
Even both players from 01. Of July are worth only 5 million on balance sheet. So extending them would make cheaper on balance sheet.
They both are useful for next 3 to 4 years if proper bid doesn’t arrive.
I rather keep Estupinian to the left behind Bartesaghi and let Saelemaekers continue to the right, then to sell Estupinian, move Sallad to the left, and get Mazroui in.
But then again its all up to Amorim, and management to support his will. But I hope they find their senses on this one.
