Romano: Tomori ‘in love’ with Milan and wants to ‘stay for many years’ – renewal talks on

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in talks with Fikayo Tomori over the renewal of his contract and they have been given a boost by the player’s stance, a report claims.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that talks have been progressing since June for Tomori’s contract extension with Milan. Not only that, but he adds that the Englishman is ‘in love with the club’ and is also ‘prepared to stay for many years’.

A new long-term deal is being discussed with his agents in what would be a statement move by Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara to tie down a player who has been a huge part of the Diavolo’s recent success and hopefully will be around for future successes too.

Calciomercato.com reported last night that Tomori represents the present and the future of Milan in the eyes of the management, and even if Manchester United have shown some interest in the past weeks he gave instructions to his entourage not to listen to any other offers, because he wants to stay.

As TEAMtalk write, United are having some trouble in signing their defensive targets as Lisandro Lopez might snub them too, with Tomori not keen on going anywhere either.
