Report: Tomori’s new Milan deal will be signed before the start of the season

By Euan Burns -

Fikayo Tomori will have signed his new AC Milan contract by the time the new season kicks off, according to a report in the UK.

It has been said by The Times that the English defender will have signed his new deal by mid-late August at the absolute latest.

Negotiations between the player’s entourage and the club directors have been progressing and there is no suggestion that the deal will not be reached.

The club certainly want to keep him and he seems extremely happy and settled in Milan having moved from Chelsea a season and a half ago.

the new deal will likely run until 2026 and will presumably include a wage rise to reflect his newfound importance to the team.

He was the key defender throughout the season that just finished with the first Rossoneri Scudetto win since 2011, so the club wants to reward him for that superb form.

  1. After you sign extension with Milan, you have to play for Canada if you could Fik. England won’t give you a chance because there’s still those clown no. 6 there.
