AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori has acknowledged that the Rossoneri are a ‘young team’ but believes they can draw on the experience of certain squad members.
The fact that Milan are top of the Serie A table by three points with eight games to go has given some fans the license to dream, but every game is crucial and there will undoubtedly be many more twists and turns along the way.
This weekend could provide some given that Juventus host Inter in the Derby d’Italia and Napoli face a difficult trip to Atalanta while Milan wait for those results to come in before they play Bologna at San Siro on Monday night.
Tomori was interviewed by SportMediaset and was asked about how the team are experiencing the current moment and one of his key aims for the future, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.
“We are a young team, but we have players like Ibrahimovic, Giroud, Kjaer and Maignan who have already won. We are at Milan to win something,” he said.
“I hope to become the strongest defender in Serie A, I work every day to try to reach certain levels. The most important thing for me is to win with Milan.”
