Tuttosport: Torino to honour pact with defender – Milan, Inter and Bayern among clubs keen

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still in the race for Torino defender Gleison Bremer and his asking price has been set ahead of the summer, a report claims.

As revealed by Tuttosport (via Mediaset), there is a pact between Bremer and Torino that was agreed in early February when the renewal of his contract until 2024 was signed that enables he Brazilian defender to leave in the summer if a bid of €25m or more arrives.

The hope of Urbano Cairo – the president of the Granata – is that the sheer number of top clubs who want Bremer could see some kind of auction unleashes. Milan, Juventus, Inter and Napoli are keen in Italy, with Bayern Munich showing interest abroad and some teams from the Premier League.

The exponential growth and progress of the 24-year-old has not gone unnoticed and the inevitable farewell will be sanctioned at the end of the season, because Bremer’s dream is to play for a top club and compete in the Champions League.

Il Toro for their part can be consoled by a nice capital gain, given that they signed him in the summer of 2018 from Atletico Mineiro for €6m and he will soon be sold for 4-5 times as much.
