Tuttosport: Ancelotti could do Maldini a favour and let Milan re-sign Real Madrid forward

AC Milan’s plans to keep Brahim Diaz are currently on pause as his future at Real Madrid remains uncertain, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanLive) writes how Milan’s stance on the 21-year-old playmaker is clear: they want him back for another season at least, to play in the Champions League, to gain that experience that he still lacks and to be a useful attacking wild card.

The fate of Brahim will depend solely on the will of Carlo Ancelotti, the new Real Madrid manager, but given that he has an excellent relationship with Paolo Maldini it is possible that Ancelotti could grant an extension of his loan to Milan – maybe even with an option to buy including.

Assessments will be made shortly given that such issues are a priority for Milan, but of course there are other pressing matters such as the renewal of Hakan Calhanoglu which must be resolved.
