Tuttosport: Arsenal ready €40m bid for Juventus man but Milan remain interested

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan remain interested in Juventus defender Merih Demiral but face competition from two clubs, according to a report.

The Rossoneri are expected to be active in the January transfer window after a dismal start to the season which has seen them lose seven of their first 12 games.

Finding a consistent partner for Alessio Romagnoli has been a problem, and La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com) reported last month that a new centre-back could be purchased if Mattia Caldara’s return to the fold does not go to plan after his long-term injury.

One name who has been constantly linked since is Merih Demiral, and according to Tuttosport – as cited by MilanNews.it – Milan have not stopped thinking about his name for the winter market.

The newspaper writes that the Diavolo face competition from Arsenal and Manchester United for his signature though, and that the Gunners could present an offer of €40million soon.
