Tuttosport: Atalanta and Sassuolo duo among targets Milan have to fix issue

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are considering two names in particular as potential replacements for Pepe Reina, according to a report.

The Rossoneri are in the market for a new deputy to Donnarumma after Pepe Reina left for Lazio, Asmir Begovic returned to Bournemouth and Alessandro Plizzari was loaned out to Reggina.

Saturday’s edition of the newspaper Tuttosport (via MilanNews) confirms this, and even adds that the management want an experienced goalkeeper.

Asmir Begovic is always on pole position, but there have been suggestions that his salary is considered too high. The other profiles followed are Sassuolo’s Andrea Consigli (33 years old) and Marco Sportiello of Atalanta (28 years old).

However, those are not the only names on the wish list as there are other players being considered. Either way, it seems almost certain that Milan welcome a new goalkeeper during the summer window.
