AC Milan believe that Dusan Vlahovic could be the man to take over from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and have begun talks with his agent, a report claims.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes how in the coming days Milan will announce the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic for another year, but in the summer window the management will be looking for a new centre-forward and the hottest name at the moment is Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic.
The Serbia international is ttracting the attention of several clubs, primarily Milan, and there have been contacts between his agent and the club. It will not be easy to snatch him from Fiorentina for two reasons: first of all La Viola are aiming to get him to extend his contract beyond the current 2023 deadline, and secondly they want a huge amount to let him leave (possibly €60m).
Milan therefore remains waiting, but they are in the front row for the 21-year-old, who has 15 Serie A goals this year and who could grow even more playing alongside his idol Ibrahimovic before becoming his heir. The profile of the player intrigues the management a lot, while Vlahovic would be delighted to play in the same team as Ibra.
