Tuttosport: A defender is Milan’s January priority with Bournemouth player the favourite

AC Milan’s priority in the January transfer window is to sign a central defender to bring more depth and Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly is the current favourite, a report claims.

As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan News), the Rossoneri are well aware that they need reinforcements at the back if they are to challenge for the Serie A title.

A new defender will certainly arrive in January and right now, that is most likely to be Kelly from Bournemouth.

Born in 1998, he is being looked at by Juventus as well as some English clubs. Geoffrey Moncada went to go and see him recently and held some talks with the English defender who will be out of contract at the end of this season.

An attempt will be made to sign him on a cheap deal when the January transfer window is opened, but there are other targets to consider as well.
