AC Milan will consider making a move for Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu towards the end of the summer window, a report claims.
According to Friday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Deulofeu would like to return to Milan this summer after Watford’s relegation to the Championship,.
The statements made by Deulofeu to Radio Onda Cero even say as much: “Milan is an option for my future. I was really happy, I spent six wonderful months and my daughter was born there. Going to Spain is also an option, as are other Premier clubs, but first of all we need an agreement to leave Watford.”
Deulofeu’s will is very clear and his message has also reached Casa Milan, but for the moment the management are committed to reinforcing other roles and the attack, plus the renewal of Ibrahimovic.
The paper adds though how Deulofeu could be a good name for the back end of the market as he is able to play on both flanks, and could be an interesting opportunity for the Rossoneri who would surely be able to land him cheaper in the final days.
