Tuttosport: €40m asking price set for playmaker as Milan, Juventus and Inter show interest

By Oliver Fisher -

Udinese have set a high asking price for star man Rodrigo De Paul with a number of Serie A’s top clubs circling, according to a report.

De Paul amassed seven goals and six assists in his 34 league appearances in 2019-20 helping Udinese secure another season in the top flight, but the time has seemingly come for him to move on to better things.

According to Tuttosport (via FootballItalia), the Friulians are willing to let the Argentine depart in the upcoming transfer window, however they have set their sights high by slapping a €40m price tag on his head.

It is claimed that Juventus contacted Udinese about the 26-year-old earlier in the week, while the report adds that Napoli, Inter and Milan have also expressed an interest.

Udinese are hoping that the amount of interest in De Paul could spark an auction and push his asking price up towards the aforementioned €40m, which would be a huge profit considering they signed him for just €3m in July 2016.
