Soualiho Meite is aiming to convince the AC Milan management that they were right to show faith in him and that he deserves to stay, a report claims.
As Tuttosport writes this morning (via MilanNews), Meite’s target has been clear since the day he arrived on loan with an option to buy from Torino, and that is to show Milan that they should use that option.
He struggled in his initial chances as he arrived and we thrust into action in a team that has very specific mechanisms in midfield, but in the last game against Crotone, the Frenchman showed interesting signs of growth and this is excellent news for Pioli who will need him in the coming weeks.
Meite has three months to prove to Milan that they should part with the €8m needed to sign him permanently from Torino, and there will be room for him in the league and in the Europa League.
Soualhio wants to stay at Milan and will do everything to convince the club, but for the Rossoneri €8m is not a small amount and is not money they can throw away, so the ball passes back to the 26-year-old to show he is worth sticking with.
