Tuttosport: Fonseca not at risk for now but Allegri idea could gather steam

AC Milan have collected just two points from their first three games of the season which has led to speculation about Paulo Fonseca’s future, and a report has put forward Max Allegri’s name again.

Sky are reporting that Milan hope the international break will do them good because when the games resume there will be a huge trio of fixtures at San Siro with Venezia, Liverpool and Inter all within a week.

After those three games ‘Fonseca’s position will be evaluated’, even if at the moment there is ‘no desire or intention to change coach’ despite what has been a worst start to the season in terms of points from the first three games since the start of WWII.

According to Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), Allegri is waiting for the chance to return to coaching a top side after leaving Juventus and there might be the opportunity to do that by returning to his former club Milan.

Fonseca is not at risk of being sacking immediately, but it seems that his position is already less certain than a couple of weeks ago, and the big games against Liverpool and Inter after the international break will be key.

If the wait for a first win were to go on too long, Allegri’s candidacy would gain more and more esteem among the management as per the newspaper.
