Tuttosport: How Ibrahimovic is pushing for an ‘Ajax-inspired Milan’

More than a month has now passed since Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned to AC Milan as RedBird Capital’s senior advisor, and more information continues to filter on his vision for the club.

According to what is being reported by this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic has some quite obvious roles such as keeping in close contact with the players and being present at Milanello and San Siro.

However, he is trying to understand a little more what kind of influence he can have in the future of the club. The paper claims that Zlatan ‘is thinking of an Ajax-inspired Milan’.

The subtitle states that the Swede is now focused on the Rossoneri’s youth sector. The Dutch club has one of the best youth academies in the world, so the 41-year-old will put into practice the experiences gained in Amsterdam.

Ibrahimovic is often at the PUMA House of Football – the training complex for the youth teams – to follow his sons Vincent and Maximilian.

Furthermore, Ibra is a very good friend of the Primavera head coach Ignazio Abate. What is reported is that the Swede has plans for the youth sector, in particular by immediately transferring his mentality to the talents of the future.
