AC Milan are looking to improve the attacking department ahead of next season and they are closing in on Daichi Kamada, a report claims.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), confirmations have arrived regarding Kamada who is expected in Milan at the end of the month. Despite the sacking of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, Kamada remains a target and thus the operation will be completed.
Certain names like Ruben Loftus-Cheek have been abandoned by Geoffrey Moncada’s scouting group but Kamada – who was Maldini’s last negotiation – remains on the list and therefore his arrival should be confirmed.
Kamada is still busy with Japan at the moment and while the intention was for him for sign before going on international duty he has not been able to due to issues related to his agents.
Once the bureaucratic problems have been resolved and his commitments with the national team are done, Kamada will be in Milan to sign the €3m net per season four-year contract.
However, Kamada is not the only target as Arda Guler of Fenerbahce is on the list as is Carney Chukwuemeka of Chelsea.
