Tuttosport: Market value of Milan star Kessie has skyrocketed after amazing season – the figure

The market value of AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has continued to skyrocket after a fantastic season, according to a report.

It was all the way back on 2 June 2017 that it was announced that Milan had acquired Kessie on a two-year loan deal with an obligation to buy from Lombardy rivals Atalanta, and it has been a rollercoaster ride for the Ivorian who was inconsistent for large parts of his first two seasons before establishing himself in the 2020-21 campaign as probably the league’s best defensive midfielder.

The knock-on effect is that Milan have been rewarded for their patience and perseverance, as Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com) writes that Kessie’s value has now gone up even further. The paper reports that the 24-year-old now has a market value of €60m and the fact his contract with Milan expires in the summer of 2022 should force the management to act quickly and secure his long-term future.
